As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My kids made no academic progress here. I am very disappointed.May have been a good school in the past. Teachers are below average and lack enthusiasm to work. Front office and staff are rude all the time. The principal and teachers are discriminatory towards brown colored people. We were harassed all through the year for documentation and verification. No open communication about work completed during the week. The teachers post a blog for sharing information which has minimal information on tasks that would be done during the month but in reality no visibility of what was really completed.

They focus only on attendance and school policies which I noticed is their only job to do.

Lacks highly in education. Close Quote

Open Quote My child currently goes to this school. The school campus and library is good. Teaching is bad and is below average. I am not sure how they get these rankings. The students are from well educated families hence come with some IQ. The principal, front office staff and teachers are very arrogant towards people of color and treat minorities differently. The principal does not respond to emails nor is willing to talk to parents. We get to see the principal in the PTO meetings and the PTO is highly controlled. The teachers do not care about the progress of the child. My child has made no progress in reading, math and science. They do not focus on education. They focus on the test score. The school is over crowded hence the staff and teachers are struggling and focusing only on policy handbook all through the year. The G/T and after school care application selections are not transparent. The school staff say it is lottery but select people only whom they personally want to. They never sent any letter to us regarding the acceptance or waiting list for the G/T or after school care. Though my child is a G/T student nothing extra was taught to her. No extra classes no extra teachings. No G/T classes were given for my child all through the year.Highly rigged. I would not recommend this school for parents who are looking for good education for their kids. It is highly hyped by the community. The school ranking does not match with our personal experience with respect to the level of education. The teachers are below average and lack enthusiasm for teaching. You are not missing anything great by not attending this school. In fact you are saving yourself from great disappointment and agony. Nightmare. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
