As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Before you read my long-winded review, please understand that it contains information about our ADD first-grader; and we are VERY aware of his ability to disrupt a classroom or mishandle personal conflicts. We are NOT the parents that say "my child does no wrong".

We have one son in normal classes, and one in the Gifted & Talented program. We must say that the Ms. Lee, our youngest son's Kindergarten teacher was named Teacher of the Year in 2009 and has been amazing! However...

The level of communication and follow-up from the GT Teacher, and Assistant Principal has been almost non-existent. Weekly student reports have been jaded or, in some cases, complete fabrications. Our GT child is ADD and we are aware of his behavioral issues. We have done everything to stress our need for communication and input from his teacher... however the result has been SUBSTANDARD AT BEST!

One week we get a good report and the next week we get a report that he has been having issues for a few weeks (thus nullifying the previous good report). The last two weeks we received good reports from his teacher, only to find she had moved him to a table by himself; isolated from the rest of his class. We have found her to be completely irresponsible in keeping her word (on any level) about our son, and cannot say much more for the Assistant Principal.

Upon requesting information on one event, she went almost a month without responding, and on two occasions has not responded at all (although she has our phone numbers, email addresses, and we are at the school daily).

If your child has ADD and possesses a higher intelligence, Adam is the LAST PLACE we can recommend. We have instead chosen to homeschool our son next year to work on issues that his "teacher" (for lack of a more politically correct term) has completely overlooked or worsened based on her own complacency and apathy with any challenging student. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
