As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Upon registration, I handed the front office a letter from my child's licensed pediatric psychologist informing them immediately I'm requesting evaluation and place in an appropriate classroom for ASD disabilities. The assistant principal immediately denied to sign, stating they will come to that conclusion if need, me or my childs doctor didnt have a say. He was miserable, my second attempt to request evaluation for services was denied concluding adequate placement. Still miserable. Finally Christmas break we were approved for an evaluation, by then my autistic son was behaviorally discriminated. And then label as such because of their lack.
Undiagnosed, ignored disabilities. Inadequate evaluations, no support or aide for autistic-behavorial needs children beyond a para in gen ed... Leaving them in general education with a para is not enough!! They use physical restrains and isolation rooms as discipline here when the issues could have been avoided if the principal addressed the issues instead of ignoring them to keep sped class numbers low and ultimately budget costs low. She'd rather have them in an over filled over stimulated gen ed, where the teachers are overwhelmed and over worked than have them transported to a different school with appropriate classrooms to help these children. All about the numbers here. Since moving our new school immediately offered a specialized classroom for my child's needs when they saw how my child was in gen ed with a para, unlike LCE, that just left him their and used physical restraint methods!
Dont settle for a fancy new building, doesn't matter if what is running the school is distorted!
Not everyone is bad, the teachers alone were awesome!
But support for those that dont fall into the 'normal' category here, dont fit in.
Don't move here. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
