Open Quote I have 2 kids one in pre-k and other in 1st grade. I really love their teachers.
I thought of writing a good review that conveys experiences I had throughout the
year.

Miss. Catherine Bell.
++++++++++++++++++++++
she is a good teacher who always make herself available to all students, once I saw her kneeling down and wear her spex glasses to tell the name of the fish picture pointed out by a student in the classroom wall. I don't know if I would be able to do that to my own kid so gently and firmly. she is a good teacher with a big HEART. She always interested in both the professional and personal growth of the kids. she encourage the kids to do their job on their own without parents help and in more
organized way. She has the ability to keep things neat and in order. once I remembered the day when she cleaned all the students tables and chairs with the sanitizer as 2 or 3 of her kids fallen sick due to some virus. sometimes she used share the dialogue conversation she had with my kid that tells me she respect their feelings and admires them. sometimes my kid points out a plan/ insect/fish and say this is the characteristic of it and my older kid wonders at him and ask, "Hey how did you know about it?". Never fails to send the parents weekly updates and any important activities/events mails. Always, I used to feel safe and comfort as I know a kind MOTHER is inside the class to take care of my Little kid.

I have never ever seen a Teacher with Full of energy to transmit for the past 3 years in US. I always used to admire her Enthusiasm throughout the day. As soon my husband drop my kid in the classroom he used say that she makes sure the kids do their day to day activities and waves Goodbye to the parents in her eyes. she has the ability to grab the attention of her classroom when she takes out them for lunch/field trip. she also helps kids who struggle to learn/read by Volunteering for extra assignments to do at home/class. I was so proud to say my other parents in the same school that she invited us for the publishing party where the student got a good opportunity to share their story/thoughts of their own book to other parents. Every Friday she never misses to send out a Email to explain what smarties did for the whole week and who won the rewards (teacher or the kids). My kid always comes home saying this week we won and what was the reward for that week. she used to send reminder mail/remind messages and updates through phone too. So I never forgot the Library day/field trip/...... Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
