As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Sad day when it's the running joke to hear about which teacher the principal is going to visit, to ask to pass some of the laziest students that either slept, did not turn in the work or chose not to do that assignment/test and were failing. Even worse to hear about an assistant principal that would stop certain kids in the hall for having a Yeti but not others. Discipline has become a joke when an honor-roll kid gets in trouble for no reason but an athlete that plows into a glass door with a skateboard inside the school does not, is not sent to ISS, nor is her guardian sent a bill for replace it for the $250 in damage caused, when said athlete violated a school rule in the process. Nothing happened to 3 kids caught in front of the school vaping, which would be a DAEP offense, but they only got 3 days ISS? Come on. These were also kids that were the biggest trouble makers but they weren't touched relative to all they did--and nothing like hearing my daughter come home and complain about it.

Just take a look at the test scores here on site and you'll see this school is going downhill fast but no one's wanting nor trying to fix it. In fact, a few years back, over 40 of the staff left because of the nosedive in discipline and no administration support. It's even worse when one ran out after a few days from a known student miscreant threatening to harm her and then another teacher getting assaulted, and the administration did nothing to the student (and that was supposed to be automatic DAEP placement for the rest of the year). There are even two teachers that don't teach to the point that one will write "70" on worksheets where students only sign their name but do none of the work and other that gives students test answers before the test, so those students make 90s and 100s where the same students in some cases were known to average 60s in other classes because they didn't want to do the work. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
