As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote SST has negligent staff members and does not take any disciplinary actions. Bullying runs rampant in this school. My brother only attended one semester and was bullied by many kids. NONE of the teachers seemed to notice when it first started, and very few were willing to help him get his grades back in order after they fell as a result of the bullying. Around the end of the semester, a kid punched him in the face, and pretty much got off with a slap on the hand. However, my brother got in trouble for taking out his anger by drawing in his own PERSONAL notebook. The school asked that I remove my original bad review from Google. I will not be silenced, I have the right to speak freely (and no, I am not a minor). It is also my moral obligation to inform parents of the Hell they would be putting their children through by sending them to SST. Middle school sucks as it is, spare them the cruelties of what others have deemed a "dumping ground for kids who have been expelled from surrounding public schools..." Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
