As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Central is a terrible school with a terrible experience. Students are constantly stressed about maintaining a high GPA and are unable to enjoy the social benefits of other schools. We don't even have our own football team, so going to a football game is a strong no. Honestly, any Central student would be better off at a school like Blackman or Riverdale, because a 3.5 (which you're probably going to get at Central, because the teachers are terrible and the workload is FAR TOO HIGH) with a Central diploma probably won't get you as far as a 4.0 with a Blackman diploma. Let's not forget that my fellow classmates are all awkward, crummy, and annoying, most being religiously biased and Republican. The environment is so negative that at least EVERY student who has managed to grow up in the pre-K styled environment will tell you they've broken down MULTIPLE times due to the high pressure and terrible teaching.

Too long, didn't read?
Central is terrible, the people are awful, and the workload is better. Go somewhere else, I beg of you. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
