As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I can't write a very detailed review due to limited space, but I just want to say that I highly recommend CHS if you are looking for a high school in CMCSS. This is my third year at Clarksville High School, and I am so glad this is where I get to make my high school memories. The teachers are very friendly, intelligent, helpful, and it's very obvious how much they love their students. CHS offers many different courses (including AP and Dual-Enrollment), sports, clubs, and other extra-curricular activities. You can see the school spirit as soon as you enter the door. CHS has lots of different events from Homecoming Week to the ultimate frisbee competition to movie nights to tailgating to Lip Syncs to Field Day. These aren't even a quarter of the events CHS has throughout the year. There are so many opportunities to bond with your fellow Wildcats. There are all different types of people at CHS- preppy, jocks, country, hipster, "nerdy", etc. Everyone tends to be one big family and gets along great. If you want more information, check out the CHS website or the CHS Instagram and Twitter accounts (WildcatHAPPS). Close Quote

Open Quote the school doesnt have many choices for to take forign language... in other states there are like 10-15 different type to choose from(the east side of america) The school's level and course are regular and honors in Clarksville high school. but in the other parts of usa has Regular, honors and GT/AP. I think the schools in TN should have GT(Gifted and Talented) classes too. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
