Open Quote My child is reading above grade level, and flourishing under the experienced, dedicated, and firm (but kind), teaching staff at Fishing Cove. The latest PARCC test scores show Fishing Cove as the second highest performing elementary school in the NK district after Hamilton, which speaks volumes about the quality of the teaching staff because we also have the highest numbers of children with special needs and financial needs. In short, this school boasts more diversity - and better results than almost any other elementary school in this or similar districts like EG or Barrington. This is the kind of school that prepares children with a high-level educational foundation, as well as the tools to interact and engage with peers from all walks of socioeconomic backgrounds. It's the kind of school that nurtures true leaders, and I'm glad my child is a part of this rich community. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
