Open Quote I was in this school as a member of the public, and found the school to be extremely unsafe. There were boxes full of papers stacked up in front of heaters, no fire extinguishers were visible, and no AEDs were anywhere in site. There was no sprinkler system to activate if there were to be a fire. This school needs to be brought up to code so we do not have a disaster occur, and risk the children being in danger. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
