Open Quote I'm a reserve teacher at Dayton boys Preparatory academy. I started my assignment on August 18, 2010. I was one of the 3rd grade teachers. I was honored to be a part of the staff. The students I taught was eager and willing to learn. They work very hard and their score result reflected learning was taking place in the classroom. I did administer the test and preparation under my instruction. The teacher was out on sick leave. I had to come in the classroom up an running. However it was worth ever moment because the principal is a very honorable man. He supported his staff and gave me a feeling he truly cared about his student achievement, growth, and learning. I gave him a 5 star because he is a very hard worker and want the best for his staff and student growth in his school. I have worked in the field of education 32 years. I Thank him for trusting in me to come into his building and help prepare his young men for the OAA test for fall 2010. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
