Open Quote Trust me DON'T go to this school if you're a parent or teacher. The administration is very unorganized. Teachers who teach their own material. The students pretty much run the school. This school has tons of fights daily but are never reported. Test scores are always low. The cops are always outside the school at dismissal. In the morning students fight across the street before entering the building. Students cut class while adults watch them. Again DON'T go to this school. Close Quote

Open Quote Every year this school gets better! The students are now able to select elective classes and have a choice of dance, theatre, visual arts and music. The students in the music class play their instruments during graduation and other ceremonies as well. EFAA is a small, intimate school and we believe in helping students become not only better in academics but to become better, more positive people. My experience here is better than any other school I have worked in. I love coming to work and being surrounded by such a wonderful, supportive staff, supervisors and working with the children. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
