As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I would love to give this school 1 star, but that would not be fair to the teachers that taught my two children. The teachers my children had were wonderful, but the interaction I had with other teachers was not good at all. I have never entered a school and felt so unwelcome or as an outsider as I have at this school. Teachers have literally argued with me, been rude, and down right disrespectful. I even had teachers turn down volunteer help! That has NEVER happened! I get the feeling that most of the teachers at this school feel they can do whatever they want since Nevada is hurting so much for teachers they know their job is safe. The front office staff is unwelcoming, unhelpful, and downright rude most of the time, except for maybe 2 of them. The principal is NEVER around and he is always in a "meeting" or busy doing other "things," and cannot be bothered to attend a PTA meeting, yet I have caught him multiple times just standing around in the front office not doing anything. There are 2 VP's at this school and I have not met either one and neither of them attend PTA meetings or other school functions. It is sad that this school's test scores give people a false sense of what the PEOPLE are like in the school. I am glad that my kids got a good education, but shouldn't the atmosphere of the school be important as well? We will NOT be returning to this school for the 2016-2017 school year. If I were you and you want to know what this school is REALLY like, visit BEFORE you move or register. It just might not be worth your time and effort. Close Quote

Open Quote This is a school with great scores, but I feel that is in huge part thanks to the parents and not the school itself.

School is overcrowded, with not enough parking, and offers very few little extra-curricular activities. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
