I hated my time in the school. I graduated in 2013. There is not much diversity and only a handful of teachers who show actual concern for their students. They lead people to believe that it is a very diverse school, but there is a great diversity of the countries that the Asian students come from.

The expectations are outrageous (I have graduated college now so I know that hard work is important and I am not lazy. This is just true). The amount of hours of homework assigned cannot fit into the day if you want a proper nights rest and because students know that, but are so afraid to tell the teachers they just cheat to get the work done. I have seen countless people cheat on Exams. I never did, but if I did, I would have had a much higher GPA and been inducted into honor society like the other cheaters were.

SOme students coped with the workload with drugs and alcoholism, and any student who did not fit in was pretty much isolated. Basicallly ate lunch alone for 3 out of my 4 years and worked independently unless the teachers specifically assigned me to a group.

I also had a teacher try to fail me on an assignment that I didn't do because I was in the hospital sick with the flu. Showed her the note from the hospital and then she told me I could make it up. I made it up in one day (The other students had about 4 days to do it) and she still tried to fail me. I honestly believe she was racist on only liked the Asian students.

So yeah. This high school sucked. But it looks great on your resume/transcripts and can open many doors for college and internships. If you can get through the trauma without dropping out or getting hurt, then it is worth going just for the ability to put it on your college apps. Close Quote

I really DISLIKE this school. To keep it short, some teachers don't care if you pass or fail and just want to get through the year. Others will talk about their personal life and will START teaching the last 10 minutes of class. Also, this school isn't prepared. Some students don't get textbooks and therefore have to learn from their very brief notes while other students have the textbook and get higher grades. In addition, this school is very low on materials. Barely any paper, ink, etc. I am dreading going back to this school for another year. Close Quote
