As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote horrific and inadequate early childhood/kindergarten teachers who demonize young children and expect incoming kids to possess a full set of life skills. My child is unfortunately zoned in this school and is gifted. That means absolutely nothing as no one can tolerate teaching these children Anything other than the curriculum. This school centers around the teacher, not the child. Every accommodation is made for the teachers in an effort to ease their workload while children are reprimanded for small infractions such as having to be redirected. Normal and appropriate childhood behaviors are labeled as disabilities even when the child has been evaluated. Teachers do not want to apply themselves and complain and gossip with each other. The teachers are quick to refer for an IEP when not needed even though there are 2 to 3 teachers per class with a minuscule amount of students. They look to assess children for small things such as not knowing how to share or sit still in their seats-at 4 or 5 years old. They repeatedly reprimand and traumatize gifted and academically advanced students with absolutely no positive reinforcement, looking to get through their day as quickly and as easily as possible, ruining small children’s outlook on schools and their self esteem. Open Quote I go to this school and it's actually pretty fun here! A lot of the students in my experience are nice and fun! Also if you given this school a bad rating because your child wasn't allowed to bring their phone around, then what do you really expect? A lot of schools restrict phone use anytime during school time for reasons to make sure that no one cheats, or gets off track during classroom time. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
