As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This school is amazing with the kids. I'm not saying that every kid there is perfect. Of course, every school is going to have their pros and cons, their good students, and troublesome ones too. When a student distracted the class, they were punished, as to what they did. Of course, there were special needs children. They weren't punished for what they couldn't help, but they weren't left to go completely crazy, and do whatever they wanted, either. The teachers at this school are amazing, simply wonderful at their jobs. They shine uniquely at their different ways of teaching, and are always able to help kids blossom in their education. Mr. Foster is a wonderful, wonderful principal. As of a review posted before this one, a parent explains how Mr. Foster hired a new teacher after winter break. Yes, but it is not his fault. It took at least to months to get through to the district to talk over the fact that they needed a new teacher because of the large amount of kids in the 5th grade. Also, the teacher was hired at the end of November/beginning of December, not after winter break. Mr. Foster is just fine at decision making, and well deserves his job. This school provides an eBOB team (Elementary Battle of the Books, 4th and 5th grade), a robotics club (4th and 5th grade), and more. This is an amazing school, and I highly reccomend it. You and your child will love it here, they are very welcome and happy to meet new students! Close Quote

Open Quote This was my school from K-5. I honestly would not regret a day or teacher. I will admit there was one teacher that I was not satisfied with, personally. I see that as just a bump in the road, that can just make you stronger. I will agree that Mr. Foster does not smile much, but is a great man. At CCE you get to know great people and great memories are made. One of my personal favorites was EBOB (Elementary Battle of the Books) my team I was on had placed first in district and eighth in regional. I was actually apart of the 5th grade swap (I'll call it that for times sake) and I do agree that it was a bit award, all of a sudden being without some classmates but being adaptable is fine. In my own opinion. It did take a lot longer, but in the end a great teacher was hired. Close Quote

Open Quote Principle Foster is the worst decision maker. 5th graders were told at the begining of the school year that some of them would be changing homerooms when a new teacher was hired. They spent half the year with 30 kids in the class. The new teacher was hired and changes were made after Christmas break! How can you bond with your teacher with this kind of distraction cloud hanging over you? Also,I had an issue with a teacher and had to contact Mr. Foster about 10 times before he could resolve the problem. Then he never followed up. He never smiles, but why should he? Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
