As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote First of all, If i could give this school a negative star...i would. The admin cares not for their staff. I would assume that's why they had over 25 vacancies and can't keep a regular sub. They allow the kids to run the school and talk to their teachers as if they are common street thugs. Unless, of course, you are a cop on duty. Any foul words in her direction and you receive 5 days OSS. Allowing the students to speak to us the way that they do without punishment, allows them to have free thought that they CAN and if they can...they will. They also allow these kids to dress like they walked off the street, I have never seen more boobs in my face - if i say one word, however, I am putting sexual connotation behind the way they're dressing. But if I have on leggings, someone says something to me the second my feet hit the floor of the building. They have 30 minutes added to their day (of which they would still have to make up if it snowed), the kids are there way too early to think in the morning, there is zero support, and i don't get paid extra for the time i'm there. lastly, they lack communication skills. They inform you of "duties" the night before and expect you to stay there into your evening. Forgetting that, as a teacher, you have to be there much earlier than most the following day. Maybe informing me a week prior, I would feel differently. PS. The lady in charge never comes out of her office. Student nick name: "OZ". If you are a teacher, looking for a place to start - this is not it. You will lose your passion and hate mondays ....tuesdays...every day of the week. Go else where. Trust that there are better, NICER, and more professional places to work. Places you'll enjoy working at. Best regards. Close Quote

Open Quote I have 2 children that goes to OHS and the both love it. The atmosphere, students, teachers is all nice and for the most part everyone gets along great. Our football team went 10-0 on JV and varsity went to the play-offs again. Not all schools are perfect but I would give OHS a 8. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
