As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I did not find any of my kids’ teachers to be awesome or great with the exception of one and she retired. Let’s coach and counsel these teachers to not bring their personal baggage to class with them. We don’t want to hear about you getting drunk over the weekend or when you’re going through personal problems at home, don’t take it out frustrations and bad moods on the kids. Maybe it was only my kid that was caught in her wrath, but I know for certain he wasn’t the only one in his kindergarten class that didn’t always listen. Yet, he got the worst of it. I guess I was not in her inner circle of parents who hovered and gossiped with her. I don’t see her as a strong role model but rather weak. She had insults, criticisms and accusations and she was a 20+ educator with her own kids. Just because you can be a teacher, doesn’t mean you should. She scared him so much he was always anxious and nervous. He’s more chill and happy now, no thanks to her. He can’t believe she’s a teacher to young kids. it doesn’t suit her attitude or personality. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
