As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Olson claimed they wanted to help my first son. But I believe they just wanted to label him as a special needs person to follow him through high school. They did not help him in any way but to make him feel stupid. Olson beleived the file sent by Poplar Bridge where they tried to label him as ADHD. I had him tested by 2 psychartrists and 2 physchiologists and none of them said he was ADHD but that he was a very energitict child. I stated that he needed to be challange acadmically because he did not know what to do with himself when he was finished with the work or knew the material. Nothing was done about this at Poplar Bridge or Olson. Both schools made him feel stupid by their actions. He is now in high school and is pulling A's and B's. He has even received a Jaguar Pride award and was nominated by his English teacher for this award. MY SON IS NOT STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My other son is at Olson and was busting his behind to pull A's. He set a goal to get into honors math and finally Ms. Ogren recognized his ability and promoted him to Honors. He is very pleased about this accomplishment. He also needs to be challanged acadimically as he has the same problem as my other son. Olson does not treated him as stupid. However he is not recognized for his efforts. During the first quarter of sixth grade he pulled straight A's. Olson did not recognize him for the "breakfast". I was told that a teacher had to nominate him. Well he is no longer working as hard because he knows as well as I do he will never be nominated. I know this because they know his brother and equate him with his brother. Another reason I know this is because this is all political. I refuse to "brown nose" and am not rich. Because of these reasons my youngest son will never be recognized. Also by not acknowledge him in front of his peers he is OK with pulling B's. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY YOUNGEST SON BELIEVE HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH JUST LIKE HIS DAD MAKES HIM BELIEVE HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
