Open Quote Three Lakes is a QWK2LRN research school. Three Lakes was a zero percentile Priority school in the 2012-2013 school year. They now rank in Michigan's 61st percentile. Three Lakes became the first school in America to document a solution to the bloom 2 Sigma problem:

Three Lakes 5th grade students (2 Sigma experiment cohort when 3rd graders) are also the first cohort to demonstrate a predicted outcome of solving the 2 Sigma problem, the "Pig in the Python effect" .
