As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote As a parent of a child who never struggled in school but always hated it I can say it is not a fight to get him to school in the mornings. He has thrived in this environment and while his peers at other schools may not work as hard as he does he is going to come out of school better for it. The teachers and administrative staff care about all the kids. I have never had a problem with any one of them responding to an e mail or phone call. If your child is willing to work hard to keep up with his/her fellow classmates this is a wonderful school. The teachers do all they can to make sure students stay with their class and above grade level including coming in on Saturdays to help kids who need it and are willing to show up. My son has taken advantage of the Saturday school when needed and didn't mind going! He has participated in after school clubs he would have never been exposed to in other schools in our area. This school is a godsend for me and my son Keep up the good work to all the teachers staff and students. Close Quote

Open Quote because of the huge success csp has in math and science and the poor quality of neighboring middle schools, many parents whose kids have no interest in math and science send them here. the quality and rigor and expectations are much higher than these kids have ever had. some are not interested in teh hard work necessary to succeed here, especially when they see their peers slacking off at other schools. however for the child truely interested in math and science who is willing to work hard and take advantage of the many free tutoring opportunities this school is a godsend! outside math and science, the engish and turkish classes are particularly well taught. oil painting club is very popular as well. don't come here expecting not to work and work hard however! Open Quote I have heard great things about this school and when they chose my child to attend I was very excited. Only to be let down later. They made promises that were never kept to make sure my child was caught up in the language class. As well as 90% of the teachers do not respond to notes and emails. The principal does not address the issues I have with school work and bullying.

My child has always been a A/B student and was taking advanced courses before transferring. Now failing grades are brought home and this seems to be fine with the faculty.

I highly suggest to not send your child to this school. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
