They can't get substitutes very easily and administrators don't enforce the rules. Students are very disrespectful and many have severe behavior issues that are not dealt with properly. Close Quote

My daughter has attended Old Mill since middle school. She is currently a 10th grade IB student. I haven't been satisfied with the teachers at this school. It appears that most of their class time is spent handing out worksheets and do very little classroom teaching. The children are teaching themselves! I require much more for my child and the teachers have not done such a great job challenging my daughters learning. I recognize that teachers are not paid very well, and my hope is that we can create a better learning system for students as well as compensate teachers better, which will in turn increase their desire to teach. We are a military family, my children have attended eight different schools so far. OMHS is the worst one ever. We will be moving early to get away from this school. It is not military-friendly at all. The school has no leadership and teachers are never held accountable. My children's education has suffered Close Quote
