As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I love my son's school. Marie Riviere is so awesome. Everyday at Carpool ( which moves fast) the PRINCIPAL and teachers are happy and smiling and playing music and welcoming the kids. I am happy after dropping off Jonathan even if it's been a bad morning.

Not to mention the great teachers ability to work with the kids, ADHD and all, no yelling, no disrespect to anyone. The office staff actually cares about your kids instead of making you feel unwelcome. I cannot say enough good things about the school. Their summer camp program is awesome too. Ms. Gene loves the kids and ALWAYS has something fun for them to do if they are not outside playing.

You can have the teachers e-mail and they actually e-mail you back. They keep in touch as much as you want. They communicate and will discuss ideas and ways to help your child success. They are so kind and loving. After coming from another public school close by this is such a breath of fresh air. As a parent you are listened to and welcomed and always communicated with. That is hard to find. Weekly newsletters, almost daily something comes home about what is going on. There is fair amount of homework and they keep close tabs on conduct and send home weekly communications / conduct on each child. There is a fair, a 5K walk and all kinds of ways to involve families and kids in the school and community.

It's free and I'd pay for it. Love my school. Only wish it went to 8th grade. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
