Toxic toxic toxic. Do not send your child to this school. You will regret it! To see your child in tears daily because he cannot understand the work. To listen to an educator belittle him and his classmates for asking questions or asking for help. “You should have been listening” “I’m not going to repeat myself” “Everyone else seems to get it except for you” “We already went over this” (They are 8 and 9 year old 3rd graders) Absolutely disgusting. No help from the principal. regarding teacher. Refused to switch teachers/classes when we have asked numerous times since the beginning of the year. He calls it “tough love”. Pulling my child out immediately and never looking back! Shame on you Voyager PCS! Close Quote

Deceiving education methods and lack of accountability both on the teachers and administration's side. The parents don't know where the kids are based on their "traffic light" like grading system. Some of the teachers are really mean and disrespectful both with the students and the parents. Dirty and outdated facility (old and dirty carpets, moldy AC units, almost inexistent play area, only a few computers, cafeteria is actually the library, etc.), in spite of the fact they are constantly fundraising. This explains why such a small school can afford to pay both a vice principal and a principal (the latter has gotten a pay raise every year since he came on board, and is getting paid much better than a public school principal). Advise: do your research before and ask detailed questions. Best option: take your kids to a public school or, even better, to a private one if you can afford it. We pulled out both of our girls (7 and 9) after 1 year when we found out more about what was really going on there and about the fact that our kids were actually behind by comparison to the average public school kids.
