Open Quote This is my opinion Mundys Mill Middle school is a joke , They are not looking out for our children, they are setting up our children for failure, there is no communication between teachers and parents , They have a scholar program is also a joke how can a child be in such a program and come out with c's on there report card, our children have no support at Mundys Mill it is the most ghetto school the front desk personal have no customer service skills, they act as if you are taking up there time , checking your child out they make it so bad, the boss is beautiful but if you need her you have to put in an advance notice 1 month in advance, she is hard to pin down to talk to about your problems with her teachers She will shun you when you speak of certain teachers the fights are also a problem your child is not protected at the Mill nobody seems to care for real,I watched the mother on the new how her child got beat and got no help while the parent set crying and the pretty lady over that school could not do anything how come our children are in a no win they have some teachers that care some that teach for the pay check and watch how you approach the sitution your child will suffer threw there grade , The teachers will not give you heads up if your child is failing, you find out when you get your report card , when you speak to some teachers they are so rude, so what's a parent to do Close Quote

Open Quote The bias at this school is ridiculous! Favoritism is ramped from teachers to coaches. Teachers don't return calls or emails to parents who actually give a damn about their child's education. The front desk ladies are ghetto and have no customer service skills and it always feels like an inconvenience when you are there to pick up your child. They are always talking about personal and inappropriate subjects that neither students or parents need to be exposed to.

The basketball coach is arrogant and incompetent. He loses games because his weeding out process is based on who he knows. Many kids who are on AAU teams didn't make the recent cuts ?? That is why they will lose the upcoming games not due to the kids but due to this coach Thompson person. Get a real coach. No one who makes a habit of yelling at and disrespecting children should work there. Private schools are expensive and so is AAU but it is worth it. For those of us who need this Government schools with government mindless workers it's a shame no wonder our country's education is in the toilet.

Thanks for nothing Mundy Mills Middle and Clayton county schools! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
