Open Quote They provide enourmous support to children with disabilities. With services that alot of other local schools in our county do not support, such as support class rooms and one on one para pros. wich can be very helpful to a child with disabilties. But also for children without so that they can mantain order and the best education with as little distraction as possible. From a parent with a child with autism i know that my child would probalby not do well with out a support class room, as many mainstream class rooms can be very overwhelming to a child with any type of diabilties. para pros are alomost considerd a "luxary" these days in county schools with many of them loosing there jobs in this past shool year. i was happy to see clear creek keep their's and hire more. Para pros are very helpful in all class rooms but depermental in disabilty support classes. They are also peace of mind for parent such as my self because you know the child has a para pro that will asist his/her needs and help keep them safe. I am proud to say that my child is clear creek lion!!!rrrooaar!!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
