Open Quote As a former teacher at this school let me tell you about this school. BEWARE OF THIS SCHOOL! They don't care about the kids or the teachers. They don't invest in curriculum for the kids and basically have no resources. All they care about is helping the kids that may bring the school score up come FSA testing season. They don't care about the super low kids or the super high kids. They are all about testing and it is disgusting. DO NOT send your child to this school! Close Quote

Open Quote This school is terrible. This school needs to be audited by the authorities and maybe closed down. Students have a new teacher about every week or two, management does not care, they have no respect for parents, they say things will improve, but after a long time, things has not improved yet. This school is a joke. Most teachers do not have a Teaching certificates for the subject they are teaching, students who work harder are penalized and continuously graded way below their real capabilities. There is one teacher who is specially heinous when it comes to grading students, her name is Andrea Fells, and you complain about her, they just say, "do not worry, she is only a substitute teacher, she will be replaced soon", which we found hypocritical since she is the only teacher that has been there since the beginning, while almost everybody else lasts a couple of weeks and then leave. This school needs to be investigated. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
