Open Quote HORRIBLE Leadership, principal doesn't have a clue what she is doing. She is too busy doing photo ops for facebook rather than running the school.Terrible with kids, does not communicate with parents. Suspend kids because she couldn't be bother to do the job she was hired for. Since she started, students making honor roll every quarter has dropped tremendously because teachers hate their jobs and are just there for the pay check. Very toxic environment because of the leadership in this school. Close Quote

Open Quote This school is horrible. The teachers are always changing. The staff believe the school is their’s and not the students. You get no where with complaints and issues. Bullying is a big problem in this school. I won’t address the racism but whatever. Everything as far as informing the parents are very last minute. Found out on a Monday that my child has picture day in the Wednesday, which needed to be paid by the Tuesday. Yeaaaa 1 day to let you know. My son is in 8th grade and never seen much homework, homework must be a joke for them. His senior trip and graduation, I’m surprised I’ve finally got that information and not the night before smh. It’s too stressful to deal with a terribly mismanaged school. I don’t even believe in the test grades. Your child in 8th grade passing English all because they know how to spell CAT. School is a disgrace to a CHARTER SCHOOL entity. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
