Open Quote As hard as we tried and as long as we were on the "wait list" to get our child in.,we are very unhappy to this point of the year.,our child is unhappy, not motivated unlike in public school.the staff is rude and unthoughtful.we hope to be back in public school next year Close Quote

Open Quote Obviously the other parent review is a hoax.....how can 45 students and two teachers in 800 square feet of space be a "small private school atmosphere"? They had to remove that line from the sign outside the school recently because that is just not the case. This is how it has been since the last school year when Charter School Associates decided to put profits over people and cram as many children as they could in one physical space and still obey the fire code. This school has no school psychologist or guidance counselor for students, pre-packaged, disgusting food for lunch because it doesn't have a kitchen in the building it calls the cafeteria. It shoves two teachers in the same classroom and calls it "co-teaching" - but they regularly leave 1 teacher with 30+ kids. If you care about your kids, you won't send them here. Close Quote

Open Quote My daughter has attended since the school has opened 3 years ago. Even with the change of Principals - my daughter has had consistency with her Teachers and the management/rules of the school and how it is ran. She is in a smaller/private school type atmosphere. I love the idea of uniforms and my daughter being able to move at her pace - whether she needs more assitance with her reading or if she is excelling in her Math. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
