Open Quote If you love to teach do NOT work for this school. They fire teachers on a regular basis for minor things and then they will lie about it to ruin your career. Look up other reviews. They have a high teacher turn over rate. Close Quote

Open Quote I've have been attending KCC since it began in 2003. The growth of the school has been tremendous, while the feeling of family has remained in tact. I'm amazed at what the leaders of the school have been able to accomplish without loosing focus on quality and individual focus. They recently built a beautiful 49,000sf facility for it's students and have an amazing array of programs. They are even beginning to show excellence in sports too!

I love this school! They demand participation from parents and expect the best from every student. This school easily compares to and exceeds the private education we paid for our older children at two of the highest performing private schools in Tampa Bay. I wish KCC had been around for them.

Now if we could only get them to consider opening a High School!!! Close Quote

Open Quote I am so pleased that I chose to enroll my son at Kid's Community College Charter School. I can not speak highly enough of the individual attention and caring environment that my son was given during this past school year. At Kid's Community College we are not simply a number at a school, but members of an educational community. We can't wait to start the new school year in August. Go Cougars!!!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
