Open Quote My daughter is currently a 5th grader at New Berlin Elementary. She has been going to this school since kindergarten. As a parent, I'm thankful to every single faculty and staff at NBE. They are such caring group of people. They'll communicate with the parents from class dojo phone app (even late at night, early morning or even on the weekends) phone voicemail, school FB page and Tuesday folders. Making sure everyone is getting the message one way or the other.
It takes a big heart to help shape little minds. NBE has been providing a safe, loving place for the children. My daughter is loving every single faulty and staff there. Thank you NBE!!! Close Quote

Open Quote Absolutely the best school my son has ever attended. He’s been there since 2nd grade and he is moving onto 6th grade at Oceanway Middle next school year 2018-2019. The staff is wonderful and the teachers are amazing. They definitely do their job right! They keep students on track and help them if they fall behind, they make sure no student falls behind by doing everything possible to help a child learn. Great communication with staff and even better communication between teachers and parents. My son and I will miss this school tremendously but we have made great friends with other student and parents and we will always be grateful for having the opportunity of becoming part of the New Berlin Elementary Family!!! A++++ for this school. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
