Open Quote My opinion of the school is the following. My children have enjoyed attending this school and the teachers here are great. Coach Ryan the athletic director has been doing tryouts for the kids sports teams from grade kinder and up. If you dont get enough points you dont make the team. These are 5 and 6 year olds that regardless of ability or size should be allowed to experience the benefits of athletic competition. This year two children were left off the soccer team until it was brought to the attention of the coach. The response of coach Ryan when I spoke to him about this was " if you dont like it you can take your children out of the program ". After many requests to discuss the fact that children were excluded from sports here based on size and or ability with the principal. I finally received a call from her. The principal was arrogant, condescending and refused to discuss the matter beyond saying any adjustments necessary will be made next year. She also would not confirm any adjustments would be made. I really expected more from the leader of this fine school and the sports coach. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
