Open Quote The Principal, Dr. Bennett and her staff are extremely rude to students and also to parents. The front office clerks are extremely condescending to students and parents as well. I have personally witnessed cruel and unprofessional behavior to students, more so when parents are not there in the building, with their children. On more than one occasion they have embarrassed students in front of their peers, to the point where these poor students are brought to tears. It is very hard to witness this without stepping in to stand up for these children, so they know they are OK, and they have someone on their side that will support them! I will never be someone who see’s this kind of behavior and treatment to an innocent child, and just stands there or turns my head the other way and pretends that nothing happened. I will always stand up for a child when I see them being treated poorly, and for no good reason at all. It is really sad, but mostly infuriating to know that this kind of behavior from adults who know better, and are trusted with our children, can treat these poor children this way, and have no consequences for their actions!! No child should ever be brought to tears at school by anyone, but most importantly by a staff member! They should be there to support our children, and set a good example, make them smile, show kindness and love for our children. When children start their day with negativity, that is what they will have on their minds all day. It’s not right! These actions have been reported to the Brevard School Board, yet these same staff members are still treating these children like they a nuisance. Close Quote
