Open Quote Mr. Waaler and the staff know each student and parent by name. The staff takes time to make sure students are learning, there are also after school clubs to help students. Mrs Turner takes the time to tutor my daughter by creating a math tutor club, which has made a huge impact with my daughters understanding of math, now it is one of her favorite subjects! My daughter looks forward to going to school every day! Special kuddos to each of the teachers my daughter has had the pleasure of learning from: Susan Knapp, Karen Kuxhausen, Denika Bush, Michelle Turner and our wonderful music teacher Mr. Robertson for putting the fun back into the music program and for our new gym teacher Mr.Obertson, WOW! He has made such a difference in the way our children are learning about healthy nutrition along with exercise, and Field Day was AWESOME! . Mr Waaler and Mrs. Berg put together a preschool reading program on Friday mornings which has been great, it gets preschoolers used to another environment of learning, and they love to be a big kid for a bit. All these teachers go the extra mile to help each student succeed. Close Quote

Open Quote Stansberry is an awesome school! When we looking for houses before any of our kids were in school, we paid close attention to the schools for each house we looked at. Stansberry was one of our top choices and we are so glad we bought in this neighborhood! We now have two kids at Stansberry and both have had wonderful experiences. All the teachers and staff work hard to make sure every child's needs are met. I have been very impressed with all of the staff, especially the principal, who goes out of his way to get to know each child. Every teacher my kids have had has been wonderful too and the support staff are second to none. We have a third child currently in preschool and are excited she'll get to be part of this great school also. Glad we get to be involved in this great community school for years to come. Open Quote Stansberry has been such a great experience for my child who will be moving on to middle school next year. The whole staff including the amazing teachers at Stansberry have given her the best elementary school experience. They have done an amazing job of preparing her for middle school, not only accademicly but in all areas she is well prepared for this new experience. Stansberry is such a fun loving school. We have enjoyed all the great after school clubs & fun events Stansberry has to offer. I would recommend this amazing school! Close Quote

Open Quote Stansberry is the best elementary school in Loveland, hands down! The teachers work very hard to challenge the students and to ensure that they progress upward in their learning. It's a smaller school with smaller class sizes. To me, it doesn't make sense to pay for private school tuition when you get similar benefits from Stansberry. My students are out-of-area for Stansberry. Initially, I had my children attend our in-area school and found it quite lacking in terms of education. I then tried a charter school and it was terrible. It was disorganized and the teachers did not have much teaching experience. I did some research and found Stansberry to have high TCAP scores and good reviews on sites like this. I enrolled my oldest two children in 2009. My third child is still attending SES in 3rd grade. So having had children in Stansberry for 5 years, I have solid experience to speak from. The teachers are experienced, dedicated, and friendly. They are organized and ensure that students are working and moving forward. There is no wasting time in class or silly useless projects. I am glad that Loveland is a School of Choice city. Close Quote

Open Quote the kindergarten class is not good. The teacher will pass the student whether he knows his letters or not. She doesn't handle kids that are very hyper or have ADHD and she won't admit they have ADHD either even though the doctors have said he does. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
