As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I am not even sure where to begin with this school. This is one of the absolute worst places to send a child. The principal is not really in touch with his teachers or curriculum and does not get involved with anything. The director of this site is just as worthless. Teachers here are not monitored and therefore participate in bullying students and degrading them if not the teachers pet. Children here are often forgotten with comments such as I "....was doing fine until the 3rd assessment then went down hill. Thank you. I do apologize for not having contacted you earlier in the quarter" what type of communication or explanation is that? Children here are asked to write goals and then told that they are inaccurate and therefore not receiving credit for their opinion. Its their goal why are they being told what to say and if it is not all glamorous and flattering then the kids are punished yet, lol, we don't tell the kids what to write but they just cant say....." Then yes that is exactly telling the kids what they can and can not say or feel heck even think. Kids who need help, don't even bother because none of the teachers nor administrators will take the time to tutor, answer questions, help with resources, homework nothing other than tell you to meet teacher expectations. I am surprised a public institution like this is even allowed federal funding and has yet to be shut down by the CDE since it can not be meeting requirements for kids of any type with needs of any type let alone poor scores the rest of the way around. If kids did not spend the entire 120 minutes working on CMAS tests, they could not receive a reward (ie a candy bar etc) yet they were told that they did not demonstrate hard work and would not be rewarded. What a total crock of you know what. This entire school starting with the admin staff and the long term teachers here should all be fired and an extreme makeover done on this school it is nothing but a disgrace that my tax dollars go to support such a poor school. The bullying here is down played by all and even hinted that there is no bullying going on yet almost every review I have read talks about the horrible bullying going on here. Such a shame. Open Quote Horrible middle school. A majority of the students attending this school are living close by in low income apartments. This leads to alot of conflict. The teachers are way underpaid and could care less for your kids. They will not call or contact with issues, they just send automated messages through email. The Principle is an ex Gym teacher that has no clue how to work with kids, the Vice Principle is even worse than him. They run the school like a prison. The teachers do not stay here for long so do not expect anyone seasoned. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
