Open Quote My daughter felt very isolated by this school. The only reason she is still here, as a senior, is because she would not be able to graduate if she went to any normal high school. Each class is very fast paced, which seems amazing, until you realize that the retention of the information is minimal.... with almost every student. There is virtually no diversity and there are possibly only 10 African-American students. Earlier this year, a friend of hers was targeted by a peer and received racist texts multiple times, additionally, her best friend was called a racist slur in the middle of class and the administration did nothing even when her mother filed a complaint. This school seems too good to be true, and it is. Close Quote

Open Quote This school just really isn't too great. It has about a 50 dropout rate. It's great that you get free college but you also get 6 hours of homework a night, you don't get to participate in other school's sports due to the homework and school hours, and the overall environment is poor. Many people feel depressed and stresse about not getting good grades, many of the students smoke on campus, and there is virtually no parking. Don't go here!!!! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
