As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I wish there was an option for negative stars. The school has ignored my numerous requests to change my child's teacher. My child has a 504 plan which requires the school to provide support for his special needs. The teacher completely ignores the diagnosis of my child & now has made up a new rule of holding my child hostage at the school, not allowing him to leave & forcing him to wait in the lobby unsupervised while the teacher finishes grading all of his work. The teacher has threatened that if my child leaves he will not grade his work. The teacher is also unable to let me know what exact time my child will be dismissed from school as he will "try" to prioritize grading my child's work first. This new rule is now being given to us as a punishment because I had the audacity to ask him about the status of my child's grades on 16 assignments turned in from as far back as September that the teacher had not graded. My child was very anxious over the status of his grades since the 1st semester ended and the grades didn't reflect on the system. My young child with 3 different medical conditions now has to babysit the teacher to assure the teacher completely grades his work because the teacher lacks self discipline to manage his own time to do his job. After escalating the issue to the school psychologist in charge of the 504 plan her only response was that she was sorry I felt this way. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
