Open Quote Fantastic school! Daughter graduated from CalConnection Ripon and received over $2million in scholarships and grants. CalConnection allowed our daughter to explore her passions and take additional classes at local community colleges and vocational schools. Her college applications stood out from other because she demonstrated strong time managements skills and leadership. More one-on-one teacher interaction. I would challenge any parent of a public school student to spend as little as one full day on campus with your child to see if they are receiving the basics for college success? Are they allowed to take AP classes that are generally allocated by grade and not ability? Do they have enough qualified teacher to teach an AP class?
I understand that not every family has the means to be home with children/teen to attend online school. However the cost you might pay supplementing the educational gap (towards tutors and college application assistance) most likely is greater. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
