As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Terrible school experience 2017/2018. Seemed like an outdated backwards school environment. Small town gossipy feel to this school. Like Mayberry gone very wrong. Seemed like outdated traditional education, policies, and unconventional teaching methods. It felt like they were trying to catch up to the rest of the academic world by piling on homework and classwork and offering quantity education instead of quality.I recommend avoiding this school and looking for a more progressive updated school with higher test scores, better eighth grade math teachers and better administrative leadership. Open Quote My daughter attended Ripon Elementary in her 8th grade year. She transferred from Park View with As and Bs. She was at least a 3.0 student. She was an energetic outgoing athlete who played on the schools soccer team as well as softball through the city. I transferred her out of Parkview because she was severely injured too many times. In her first year at Ripon Elementary, her grades dropped dramatically to all Fs. She suffered from harassment and bullying and although she spent her entire elementary years striving for academic success at Parkview she ended her year at Ripon Elementary mentally scarred, an F student, and not being able to attend her 8th grade graduation. I believe her Fs were due to poor teaching skills and continuing harassment. Her grades went back up at Ripon High and I transferred her to Gregori where her GPA ranges from a 3.0 to a 3.5. When a school proclaims to be a close family I do not consider that a good thing. In my experience that is a bad thing. Since then certain staff have been replaced. Hopefully things have improved. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
