As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The school is very good well the teachers make the school very good! can't confirm that principal is never there but the few times i have walked by the office her office is closed. they do force volunteer work but the only thing available seems to be passing out milks and spoons and cleaning after lunch, an many parents that work cant simply attend those hours! therefore they have to pay 10 per hour x 20 hours. ouch!!!!!!!! plus there is no parking at any time! vice- principal does look often stressed out! =( i think the lunches are good ! only wednesday is sandwich day. only thing is is always same lunch, week after week. a change would be nice once in a while. Playground is fairly small, not so much to do for kids in 1st and above. but basketball and groups have to share space so about 10 minutes play each per day! p.e is been on the street running! teachers have great ideas for fund raising but principal doesn't seem to be interested ! to me it seems school needs and wants money but parents/teachers have to come out with ideas and work and just deliver money to office! not right. (wonder if thats reason why many good reachers are gone? maybe principal has another job? i do like the school but like everything else it has it's good and bad and as parents we need to work hard and talk and bring our concerns to the people in charge; otherwise things will never change and complaining among parents wont help. and being embarrassed wont help either! i do dislike the fact that kinder kids have to make up to 3 times a line to finally eat lunch! carrying a sort of heavy lunch plate and milk with little hands. Open Quote This school is small but big in achievement. The staff and teachers and administrators work hard. I see most of them leave really late from school, and they do a lot for my child. The school lunch needs to change, and I wish they could do something creative with the playground. Close Quote

Open Quote This school has its goods and its bads. There’s only a few teachers so my son knows all of them pretty good and feels really comfortable learning from them. The teachers on the playground are really sweet and greet me every time I see them. The after school program for the older kids is amazing, my son has learned so much and loves trying all the different activities. About the parent involvement, I want to help out more but there isn’t much for parents to do. The only thing going on a daily basis is passing out lunches, they already pay people to do that so I feel like I’m not needed. I wish they had volunteer jobs for parents that would actually help the kids. I don’t think they really want the help anyway, I tried to send my older son here to do his community service hours for school but they turned him down and said they didn’t need any help and older kids aren’t allowed to tutor. Its their loss though he’s volunteering at a different elementary school and he gets a lot of compliments from teachers and parents for helping the younger kids learn. The principal is totally uninvolved. She’s not aware of the events going on within her school. I think the teachers do everything for her. I’ve never seen her at any of the kids football or basketball games or helping out in the kids garden. My older child whent to another close by middle school and his principal attended every single event there was. I’ve tried coming in early to talk to her about an incident with my son but both her and the vice principal come so late after school starts that I missed her every day that week since I had to leave for work. Overall though I do like the school and recommend it to my neighbors. Even though the classrooms and playground are small, the hearts of all the classroom, playground, and after school teachers are big. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
