As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote It seems like there could be plenty of potential at this school, but it’s all wasted for the most part, the community’s pretty mean from my experience, a friend of mine got an office referral for telling someone to scroll down, the campus is literally just a road and some basketball courts, a field, tables, and buildings, the schedule design is horrible and yet they blame our being late to class on our phones, apparently it’s ok for your bus to ditch you because they did that and they had to send another bus to cone pick us up, overall it’s not a very great place Close Quote

Open Quote Diversity! We are one of the most diverse schools in the state. International Baccalaureate! We have a new principal who began leading us last year, and he brought high expectations with him. We have rigorous academic standards and work hard to help every child achieve their full potential. This school is based in the community and full of hardworking teachers and administrators who love what they do and believe in the children there. They've successfully reduced the school's suspension rate by 50 through the implementation of Restorative Justice. There are so many opportunities for parents to be involved, too! PTSA, School Site Council, PBIS... and so many clubs for kids to enjoy! We are even starting a new Garden Club where we will be growing organic veggies right on campus. We envision a middle school community where every child is successful, every family is engaged, every teacher is inspired, and everyone belongs. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
