As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This is by far the worst school in the South Bay. My son was bullied here and then told by the principal and teachers when we went to the office to report it, because of course I was not contacted, that nothing would be done and I was not contacted cause no none saw it. So basically it was my word against theirs. teaching my son that there are no consequences at that school. Which then carried into him needing counseling, which thanks to this genius counselor turned into him throwing a fit during math time so he could sit in her office and play on her phone. Getting into fights and going from a straight A student who volunteered with special needs kids to a complete mess. Never once acting at home the way they were describing him acting at school. I could never get any help from the school instead treating me as if I was doing something wrong. I pulled him from that school and started him at Madison elem down the street with not one single incident from the day he started there! Funny how no one at Lincoln would open there eyes to what I consider a form of abuse to my son to now back to being a straight A student with no issues with classmates. Amazing what a different school and some therapy to help him get over the bullying that no one was ever held accountable for did for my son. He will be starting jr high next year already excepted into the magnet program. I am thankful we were able to overcome what he went thru his 2 years at Lincoln. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
