As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My humble opinion is that a switch to "No homework policy" in this school several years ago is seriously affecting school performance in a negative way. I feel there should be more discussion about whether this policy benefits students. Close Quote

Open Quote For being a public school, it sure has a lot of perks that private ones do. I love the staff here and the whole atmosphere is conducive to learning and growing. We are blessed to be in this district and the boundaries! Close Quote

Open Quote I am very pleased with the education my son is getting. We are new to the district and I hated to leave the old one behind. However, my son has been welcomed by his teacher and his classmates. She has meaningful and challenging assignments that progress logically. Under her care, my son is becoming quite the writer, something I never expected! Close Quote

Open Quote My child attended this school last year because on the surface it has all the right stuff like great ratings on line. However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the way the PRINCIPAL handled issues of discipline involving serious matters between children and staff. She always takes the "side" of the staff without even considering what parents and students say. She seems only concerned with the "image" of the school rather than the students and parents. I also was very upset when one of the staff PHYSICALLY disciplined my child by grabbing my child by the face and demanding that my child "Listen!" to her. Absolutely unacceptable. When we approached the principal about the incident, she immediately defended the actions of that staff member (despite the fact that this staff member ADMITTED that she did grab the child by the face and may have gotten out of hand physically!). That was disconcerting to say the least. If you want a school that has a principal who is concerned FIRST about the student/parent/staff relationship rather than how "great" AIMS scores and outer appearance of the school fares in the community, then I strongly advise you to pass Broadmor by. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
