As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote We have been thrilled with Anasazi for our three children. We absolutely love the experienced, certified teachers here who provide a very challenging and balanced education that considers and cares for the whole child. We have an outstanding principal who has created a warm and nurturing environment for children while maintaining a strong academic program. Under her leadership, our school has started the process of becoming an IB elementary program with an emphasis on inquiry-based learning. These kids are learning to think, not just being asked to memorize, and they are enjoying it! As part of the IB program, each month students learn about a different IB learner attribute such as having an open mind or being a good listener. I’ve noticed these class discussions have had a real effect on my own children as they talk about these ideas at home. The IB program also continues into the neighborhood middle and high school which makes for a nice transition. Our school has a very friendly, supportive atmosphere, and we have many community events throughout the year. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
