Open Quote As a student this school is both good and bad for me. There was a kid who did something to me and got in no trouble what so ever by the vice principal and this kid constantly does this certain thing to people and the administration decides to let this kid go without punishment. Kids are very cruel at that school you can be walking and someone will call you names and make you feel horrible about yourself. I just can't wait to leave to high school that school makes me want to stay home 'cause the kids are so cruel. Though, they're some good things like some staff members are nice and caring like the nurse and one of the teachers out at the playground watching the kids. Some teachers and really nice too. That's all I got to say goodbye now. Close Quote

Open Quote This school has something a lot of schools don't, it has caring. I have seen the teachers care for students that others would consider a nuisance. I've seen cafeteria workers care for students who were hungry, but had no money. I've seen the nurse clean and care for numerous sick children. When I send my children here I know that they will be taken care of nurtured and cared for and as a parent that is the most important thing to me. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
