As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote If I could give this school no stars, I would. The majority of their teachers work off of a template and don’t truly understand what they are teaching. The administration is terrible and will rule every single time in favor of a Mormon student over any other as they are the majority. Security is a joke. They used to have a program that helped struggling freshmen. They must have done away with it because they could really care less if your child is performing poorly. Half the tests are from website, so they don’t test what the students have been learning. They buy textbooks and then throw them in closet and use packets that they created instead. Then they wonder why so many student struggle. If I were you, I’d move to Chandler or even Mesa. Close Quote

Open Quote I like this school, although in my experience, there was one teacher in particular I thought was too young and couldn't really relate to all of the students. But, other than that I have had positive experiences. Their office staff are very friendly, not something you always find in a school. This will be my son's third year there, and he seems to enjoy attending there. Close Quote

Open Quote My daughter attended Campo Verde for one year. It is new, safe, smaller high school with a solid academic program, including AP classes. The school received accolades last year, and I have no doubt it will continue to gain recognition . The campus is very nice and easy to navigate, and there is a nice vibe to the student body a great group of kids. An excellent choice for students interested in bio-medical, which is the school's specialty. Great choir as well. A positive place for learning! Close Quote

Open Quote My daughter has been attending this school for two years now and hasn't learned a single thing. Most of the teachers do not care and are very young. It's exactly like a junior high except they call it high school. Very poor school. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
