Open Quote I loved teaching music to these kids, I was the School music teacher. However, now that the school is finally closed I can be free and finally say !! OMG the administration at this school was the absolute worst I have ever seen in my entire life. It was complete "Chaos" working there. They made absolutely no sense at all in many areas of operations. It was a shame, you saw that Mr Hughes had good intentions, but he allowed a weak and inexperienced administration run the school into the ground. I saw many problems in the organization. I wanted to help them fix problems that were gigantically obvious. However, I was hired as the School Percussion/Music teacher. So I sat there and watched the silliness proceed. Clueless and predictable! Problems obvious like a pink elephant that were never fixed. Being that I was a Business Analyst for years before I was actually a teacher. I sometimes cautiously gave the administration advice on how to better things. But naturally they never accepted any of my advice and I just blended into the corner watching it all go to hell. Until, one day, it was my turn to be terminated and a job that I loved was over due to complete disorder from the inside out. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
