Open Quote Coming from Australia I initially had some reservations regarding the quality of schools in a semi-rural/regional area like Rogers. When I enrolled my two boys there I was very pleased to find staff who all seemed to enjoy their work and take pride in helping all children achieve to their highest potential. This school has a VERY high number of children who come from Hispanic families and I would venture to say that in some cases these kids are the only ones in the home who speak English but that does not hold them or the school back. End of year assembly to hand out awards showed such a high number of students on Honor Roll and with perfect attendance I was really amazed. The principal is a strong leader who does a fantastic job in keeping her staff motivated to go above and beyond. The teachers are some of the hardest working people who truly love their jobs. There was not a single thing I could fault the school for. A really excellent school! A++ Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
