Open Quote In 2015-2016 the average classroom size is 20-23 students. The Parent / Teacher Organization works cohesively with a strong emphasis on the student's enjoyment of learning and in having fun. The PTA is very active, and organizes many successful events and community-service programs. The school administrators are professional, courteous and do well maintaining a clean school, a no bully policy and a safe/fun learning environment. On average, teachers care for students and teach progressive lessons. Office personnel keep a clean and organize front office. A re-alignment of school boundaries during the summer of 2015 bus students in from lower-income families living in Manassas, VA that account for increased financial assistance programs and increased volunteer/financial support by the parents of the 20136 zip code area. Future test results, personnel turn-over, and/or ongoing parent evaluations will determine if the school is affected by the re-zoning. Close Quote

Open Quote The school is to interested in behaviorial issues to focus on advanced education. The principals, Mrs. Gross especially, have created an environment of fear and retaliation at the school. Children are verbally rewarded with great praise for telling on other children there. It has become so prevalent and hurtful an environment that children make up lies of what other children have done just to see them get punished. It is a horrible environment. Unfortunately the principals have taught my children to become accomplished liars to stay out of trouble, no more than that. Horrible administration and mean and vindictive teachers are at this school in my opinion. I personally think this is child abuse plain and simple but completely legal. Disgusting. Close Quote
