Open Quote Awful place to send children! Major bullying issues that are not taken care of! I attempted several times to address the bullying problems with the vice principal and principal and absolutely nothing was done!! People talk badly about Martinsville, but I found LP to be much worse, hands down!! Close Quote

Open Quote The principal do not deal with bullying issues right away as they are needed to be dealt with right at that time not when she feel like dealing with the issue, and the principal does not return phone calls until she you get the school board involved to see why she isn't returning her phone calls. Also Jo Ellen Hylton was the principal at Axton Elementary School until they moved her to LPMS and she didn't do such a great job there so I don't know they moved her to the middle school.Parents have always had an trust issue with her because she have always said one thing and turn around and another thing. If the LPMS had a better principal the school would be a lot better.
